Chart notes
LIGHT WON UP away quickly to take control, lost command early on the turn, stayed alongside the new leader to the lane, regained the advantage in upper stretch and edged clear under strong handling. LA VILLE LUMIERE sent from inside, grabbed the lead from LIGHT WON UP early on the turn, carried a short lead from the fence into the lane, was overtaken in upper stretch and stayed on well for a clear second. VELVET DREAM shifted out leaving the gate, chased three deep into the turn, remained in the three path to the stretch and lacked a rally. FIRE ILE chased inside a pair of rivals, hugged the rail on the turn and weakened. WICKED WIND tracked two wide leaving the backstretch, dropped back between foes on the turn and had little left for the stretch run.
