LAUGHING OUT LOUD travelled three deep outside rivals keeping an eye of the pacesetter down the backstretch, continued an outside journey three wide inching up around the bend, shifted just out in the four path looming boldly at the top of the lane and ran down rivals by the sixteenth pole outside and was edging away for the win when crossing the wire. MRS. HOT SHOT had an inside trip in the second flight watching the lone speed down the backside, crept up on the fence throughout the turn, slid up the rail to bid for the lead at the furlong pole inside runners but could not fend off the winner in the late stages and settled for second best on this day. TATOOSONMYSOUL had a slim lead under a snug hold between horses down the chute, chased the frontrunner while between challengers along the backside and throughout the turn, closed the gap on the leader when urged at the quarter pole, was in the thick of things three wide between foes at the top of the lane, continued with a strong effort right to the finish line and won the show award when the dust settled. MOET MONET was away alertly to poke her head in front on the fence when entering the backstretch, opened up on rivals moving well at the half, quickened the tempo slightly loose on the lead through the turn, dug in stubbornly when surrounded by rivals clinging onto the lead with a furlong to go and fought on well to the wire but faded a touch late to settle on the fringes at the end. BEAUMONT DRIVE had no early foot speed trailing in the beginning, made a brief run outside rivals three wide around the turn, shifted to the four path in upper stretch but could not pose a threat running to the finish line. SPIRIT O'TIPPERARY had a stalking role on the fence having a couple of runners beaten going down the backside, was roused but made little movement taking the short way around the bend and when travelling in the three path in mid-stretch failed to offer a late stretch rally. WILD QUEENIE sat all alone in mid-pack down the backside, had little impact regressing with runners on either side in midturn and could not play a factor while encouraged for more down the lane. THATSITTHATSALL broke inwards but was quickly straightened out after the start, stalked at the half having only one foe beaten down the backside, shifted out to be five wide under a vigorous ride while at the rear with a quarter mile to run and was widest in the seven path turning for home but could not get involved in the stretch running while travelling on the rail.
