Chart notes

WORK AWAY broke in and bumped with a foe, stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the turn, took the lead outside the quarter-pole, kicked clear when set down in upper stretch, drew away under urging into the final sixteenth then was eased up while much the best. FIFI LA FUME settled towards the rear, was roused in the three then two path on the turn and improved position to get the place. GOOD MISSION was hustled from the gate then well placed just off the pace, moved from the rail to the three path while asked on the turn, chased into the stretch and weakened while able to get the show. OTHERPEOPLESMONEY bumped with rivals on both sides at the start, was forwardly placed down the backstretch, dropped back in the four path on the turn and tired. GOING FOR GLORY brushed the inside of the gate at the start, was urged along off the pace, saved ground on the turn, drifted out nearing the sixteenth-pole and lacked the needed response. INFLAMMABELLE bumped with a rival at the start, angled in while going to the front then showed the way, vied inside on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage to the winner outside the quarter-pole and gave way. SAIPAN broke a half-step slow, steadied in tight quarters early, moved to the outside then was urged along, dropped from the four path to the three path on the turn and was no factor. MOONTOWN chased the early pace then dropped back nearing the five-eighths pole, went around the turn in the two path and failed to respond. LUCY PLAYA was fractious behind the gate, broke a step slow then was taken up significantly, moved out under some urging, was taken in hand off heels outside the half-mile pole then steadied some, went around the turn in the four to five path and failed to threaten.
