FORTUITY stalked the pace while racing inside, awaited room on the turn, bid between horses, closed willingly and drew clear late. SEVEN CHANNELS broke out and bumped lightly at the start, was squeezed back, checked hard, raced in the back towards the outside, rallied on the far turn, swung wide entering the stretch, closed with a rush, was gaining ground and got up late for place. FRENCH COMPOSER vied inside, inched away into the turn, led to late stretch, was outclosed and caught for second. CLARESTOWN bumped lightly at the start, was allowed to settle inside, shifted out and rallied around the turn, swung wide entering the stretch and closed well. DEER CROSSING stalked the pace, challenged for the lead on the turn, fell back, leveled off in the drive and faded from contention. READY TO PURRFORM vied two across, fell back into the second turn, came again between horses, was crowded at the top of the stretch while tiring and dropped back. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
