Chart notes
MERLOTTI was lacking early speed despite mild encouragement, advanced steadily outside, was mostly three to four wide throughout, swept past runners inside the three-eighths pole, readily moved clear, extended the advantage into upper stretch and held safe while being kept to the task. PETE'S LEGACY broke inwardly bumping a rival, raced a bit greenly far back early while kept off the rail, swung five to six wide turning for home, finished strongly but far too late. SOLOMON VANDY chased from off the inside part of the track and went evenly. TRICKY MOMENT broke outwardly, was forwardly-placed chasing outside and up close to the early leader, weakened. GOLDEN BUCK quickly moved to the lead, set the pace inside, came up empty. FLASH CADILLAC was lightly bumped at the break, chased while being ridden along inside and was never a threat. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
