Chart notes
CHARLENE'S DREAM assumed the early lead and moved to the inner rail, remained along the rail setting the pace, opened up in upper stretch, was kept under urging in the drive and switched to her left lead late. AUSTERE saved ground the first turn, eased off the rail leaving the backstretch, lightly steadied in traffic near the three eighths pole, swung four wide entering the stretch and rallied nicely. OCEAN CLUB , a forward factor outside the winner, chased that one to the stretch and weakened. THREE HAVANAS (GER) , unhurried early, stayed along the inner rail the first turn, trailed for six furlongs, swung wide in upper stretch and passed tired rivals. WAY TO BE MARIE , three wide the first turn, chased the pace down the backstretch, raced in the three path the far turn and gave way. SPARKLE BLUE , a forward factor in the two path between horses the first turn, circled horses the far turn, was four deep into the lane and faltered. QUEEN OF THE MUD (IRE) , a forward factor along the inner rail, chased the winner for six furlongs, was done entering the stretch and faltered.
