Chart notes
REMAINING NAMELESS pressed the early pace, held a slim lead going by the quarter pole, came two wide into the upper stretch, dug in gamely under right handed pressure, repelled bids from both sides and edged away. IRISH COAST sat just off the top trio, advanced into contention late on the turn, launched an inside bid at the head of the lane, raced in striking distance a furlong out but failed to reach eventual winner and settled settle for second best. STATE SCHOOL SMART tracked the early pace, was ridden along three wide around the turn, sustained a three wide bid through the lane and finished well clear over the rest. SOUTHFORK raced off the top trio, saved ground around the turn and steadily retreated. RED RIVER led the way soon after the start, vied briefly into the turn, came up empty leaving the quarter pole and continued to tire in the drive. MAJOR JESSE trailed throughout.
