Chart notes
HIGHWOOD vied inside of rival in opening stages, continued to match strides around the turn, shook free two wide at the head of the and and finished going away. MAUI MISTRESS raced in contention sitting just off the top trio, advanced two wide then shifted to the rail late on the turn, launched an inside bid at the head of the lane, was no match for eventual winner but ran on and held place. TRIBEST (ARG) was forwardly placed two wide, vied three deep going by the quarter pole, could not match strides at the head of the lane but kept on and secured a share. BLAME NELLIE raced off the top flight, saved ground around the turn, angled two wide in the upper stretch and had a mild improve. GOLDEN EDGE vied for the early lead, fought back around the turn, could not match strides at the head of the lane and weakened in the final furlong. CHERBOURG raced off the top flight, hustled along two to three wide around the turn and had no response. SHE'S MY KINDAGIRL stumbled sharply a stride out of the gate and trailed throughout.
