IT'S A GIRL sent to assume early command, showed the way to the turn then drew clear while off of the rail nearing the top of the lane, kept to task into the stretch and drew away under firm hand urging late. OUR ISLAND GIRL chased the early pace from the inside, was caught in tight and checked into the turn, shifted off of the rail and chased two wide to the stretch, could not make headway on the winner into the late stages and was second best. ARTFUL ROSE tracked the early pace from the outside, ran in pursuit three wide to the stretch, was outkicked in the drive and held safely in the end for third. CAN'T WANT THAT rated in the early stages then tracked the pace from between runners heading to the turn, chased four wide to upper stretch, flattened out in the stretch and was outkicked late for third. KAELY'S CANDY pressed the early pace from between runners, chased from the rail along the turn, could not find a response into upper stretch and gave way late. STORMY DAME prominent early, took back and saved ground into the turn then lacked a response in the stretch. STREET MARK reared at the start, trailed to the turn then advanced from outside of runners along the bend, went five to six wide into upper stretch and did not factor in the late stages. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START INVOLVING STREET MARK AND RULED THAT RUNNER CAUSED HER OWN PROBLEMS AT THE START AND NO ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN.
