BEAU VERO sent to contest the early pace, dueled ROCKS A BLACK SUIT to the second turn, battled that foe into the stretch, was overtaken by the winner in the lane and bested ROCKS A BLACK SUIT for the place honors. ROCKS A BLACK SUIT contested early pace two wide and between foes, dueled BEAU VERO to the second turn, fought that foe into upper stretch, was overtaken by the winner in the stretch drive and was outfinished for second, while clear of the rest for third.
