Chart notes
RED LEADER set the pace while racing two-wide, opened a clear lead nearing the quarter pole and maintained a safe advantage. DOMINATE broke out to bump with FLY BY JOHN then prompted the pace from along the inside, angled out nearing the stretch, could not reach the winner but proved to be second best. FLY BY JOHN broke in to bump with DOMINATE then was allowed to settle while saving ground and finished in a mild rally. GRAN SENOR DEL ORO tracked the pace while racing three-wide and lacked a rally. LITTLE BOY LUTE bumped at the start with ARNIE BOY then raced six-wide and failed to seriously threaten. DR TOMMY was forwardly placed while racing four-wide and tired. ARNIE BOY broke in to bump with LITTLE BOY LUTE then was seven-wide throughout and failed to be a factor. LUCKY'S SNIPER was in tight early then raced four-wide on the turn, came five-wide into the stretch and failed to menace. WILLIAM PORTER saved ground racing in the middle of the field early and gave way.
