Chart notes
HOT CARGO dueled on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and held clear to the wire. ALAS DORADAS chased the leader up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the three path and kept on to the finish. LIONZA raced in the middle of the pack early, continued around the turn in the four path, began a bid entering the stretch and improved position from there. DEFLECTION raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, came around the bend in the two path and improved position in the stretch. MADAM MITOLE raced off the pace up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and never threatened. BAYERNEE dueled on the outside through the opening stages, navigated the turn from the two path and weakened in the lane. TWIZZLE raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and made no bid.
