Chart notes
ADIOS GARY was forwardly placed soon after the start, pressed then vied for the lead around the turn, shook free to a slim lead at the head of the lane, roused for more, had plenty left in the tank and kicked clear. BOLT FORTY FIVE broke on top then quickly came under pressure, vied through early stages, lost a few spots around the turn, launched an inside rebid at the head of the lane, roused forward an dug in to hold place. STEEL LINK was forwardly placed four wide, vied three deep going by the quarter pole, swung wider for the drive, continued in range and nipped foe for show. MACHO RONNIE raced off the top flight entering the turn, hustled along two wide at the head of the lane, sustained a steady bid and got nipped for show. CALL ME ICE MAN settled off the early pace, saved ground then angled out a path around the turn, came three wide into the upper stretch, lacked racing room, continued without a clear path, found a seam in final stages but was too late for impact. RIVZONAROLL raced up close, vied around the turn then evened out in the lane. GO THE DISTANCE moved up along the outside to race just off the top flight mid-way around the turn then flattened out in the final furlong.
