Chart notes
FAST BOB far behind to the stretch, angled inside for the final furlong and surged clear with a strong late rush. MUSICAL HEART stalked the pacesetters four wide, made a steady late gain but was outfinished. BIG BROWN SHOES vied outside, shook loose on the turn, widened in mid-stretch then weakened. MODERN MIDAS trailed early, moved very wide in the stretch closing ground. FULL CONTACT saved ground off the pace and gave way on the turn. BACK EAST flashed speed for quarter mile and stopped. MASTERMIND led narrowly inside under pressure and proved empty in the stretch.
