Chart notes
RIGHT NOW stalked the pace from the fence under stout restraint for the first three-eighths, continued to stalk from the rail through the far turn, tipped out splitting horses turning for hom to quickly engage the leader and drew clear while in hand late. ALCOHOL unhurried in the early going, rallied three wide with a steady advance into the final bend, was bumped in upper stretch by tiring rival and closed willingly for the place. SARATOGA GAZE set a pressured pace for three-quarters, dug-in for the stretch drive, could not match the winner in the lane and weakened in the final sixteenth to surrender the place. PRIYANKA slow early to be the trailer and circled on the turn to be seven wide coming home and showed some late interest. STASSI pulled while chasing the pacesetter from five wide down the backstretch, rallied to threaten at the quarter pole and tired in the lane drifting out and bumping the runner-up. NEEDED pressed the pace to the quarter pole and gave way in the lane. SUZY Q THE QUEEN went evenly never posing a threat.
