Chart notes
SPICE ICE unhurried early, closed fast fast along the rail under right handed urging through the stretch to make the lead late and drew off. TALE OF THE LYON broke inward bumping GAIL'S DANCER causing her to clip heels, dueled for the lead along the inside into the turn, dropped back and shifted out three wide past the quarter pole then came on again through the stretch but was no match for the winner. PRICELESS PICTURE allowed to settle, finished with good courage four wide. CLIFTONS BALLERINA dueled for the lead two wide past the quarter pole, shook clear under right handed urging in upper stretch, maintained her advantage until deep stretch then was eased inside the sixteenth pole to the wire. GAIL'S DANCER was bumped from her outside, clipped heels then stumbled at the start and failed to reach contention. VILLAGE CAT dueled for the lead three wide pas the quarter pole then faltered.
