LE MONSTRE RAPIDE showed the way into the first turn while just off the inside, rated in the run up the backstretch, continued to show the way into the straight, turned back the runner up inside the furlong marker while drifting out to be clear again at the end. FLASH N CLASS prompted the winner from the outside and in the three path early, fell back second turn, came again for the place, not a threat for the win. BALLINONABUDJET lacked early foot while three wide through the first turn, advanced late backstretch and far turn, lodged a mild bid outside the winner in upper straight, was turned back, weakened and lost the second spot late. TONTERIA went one paced throughout while racing toward the inside, lacked closing punch. DUDE DROP KID fell back to trail before a half, three wide second turn, picked off a couple of tiring rivals while never a serious threat. REGATTA BAY settled in mid pack while off the inside, also lacked a serious response in the drive. HEAVENLY DEAL last to leave, remained always back.
