Chart notes
AUGER settled two wide while always within striking distance, slipped through along the rail to make the lead midway on the far turn, set the balance of the pace, edged clear under left handed urging in upper stretch and just lasted by the narrowest of margins. PANTHERA'S FATE pressed the pace two wide, dug in determinedly under left handed urging in the final stages and just missed. SAILOR'S CHANCE trailed for a half mile, fanned four wide entering the stretch and finished best of the rest. GROUP EIGHTEEN was fractious in the gate, set the pace in the two path for five ad one half furlongs then faded. TIME THE AVENGER stalked the pace three wide and weakened on the second turn. OILER close up inside, was through after a half.
