Chart notes
COPPER TAX chased in the six path, was driven in the four path around the turn, swung back out six path turning into the lane, and rallied past inner foes in the final sixteenth. SHAKE EM LOOSE bumped with an outer foe at the start, rated inside, was ridden along the rail around the turn, bid into the stretch, and ran on, but was out-finished by an outer foe. SPIKEZONE stalked in the five path, bid passing the quarter, took the lead while floating out to the seven path at the top of the lane, tipped back into the five path while staying on, but was caught on both sides in the final sixteenth. SHAFT'S BULLET raced off the pace in the two path, bumped with an outer foe while tipping out to the three path passing the eighth pole, and improved. RUNAWAY JACK bumped with an inner foe at the start, trailed in the four path but steadily improved while drifting out down the lane. SUNNY BREEZE vied for the lead in the three path but yielded in the final furlong. ALTOBELLI dueled for the lead in the five path but weakened between foes in the stretch, and bumped with an inner foe around the eighth pole.
