Chart notes
JOHN DUTTON sped to the lead setting a quick tempo, repelled the presser turning for home and drew off when called upon through the lane in a good effort. THORN OF HEARTS pressed the pace to the quarter pole, could not go with the winner in the lane and finished willingly to hold the place. SHADOW FACTOR stalked the pacesetters from a clear pocket along the fence to the quarter pole, rallied turning for home splitting horses in tighth quarters and finished evenly unable to sustain the bid. MORNING MARCH went evenly without impact while best of the rest. CHIPS LEGACY trailed most of the trip never posing a threat. FORCE OF JUSTICE raced in contention for three-eighths and faded coming home.
