Chart notes
NAT GAS set the pace in the three path, faced an outer challenger passing the quarter, dug in from the two path down the lane, drew clear of that challenging outer foe around the sixteenth pole, and had enough to hold off a late charging outer foe in the final strides. QUAMASH was prompted from up close in the four path, lost ground under a ride in the five path rounding the turn, began a late rally passing the eighth pole, but ran out of time. MANSEEYASWAY bumped with an inner foe at the start, pressed in the five path, bid in the four path passing the quarter, but was repelled by the inner pacesetter going by the eighth pole, and faded in the final sixteenth. MIDNIGHT READY raced off the pace in the five path, rounded the turn while under a ride in the three path, floated out to the seven path at the top of the stretch, and mildly improved. FRAME UP trailed in the four path early and never threatened. LOOKIN LIKE LUCKY tracked in the two path early but retreated. LUCA MACHINE bumped with an outer foe at the start, chased in the six path but weakened.
