Chart notes
MIGHTY MINION was well rated along the inside, saved ground on the far turn and cut the corner leaving the turn and made a bid to gain a short lead at the furlong marker and drew off to prove much the best under a drive. LAKE NAKURU was allowed to settle early, made a four wide move by the quarter pole and hit the front briefly leaving the turn but could not go with the winner in the final furlong while being clearly second best. INDIRECTLY was four wide on the first turn prompting the pace, then pressed the issue three wide on the far turn and moved out by the three sixteenth marker and weakened while getting the nod for the show award late. ROADTRIPTONOWHERE moved up to show the way while dawdling along in the two path, headed leaving the turn and tired in the lane losing the show award on the wire. HIBACHI pressed the slow pace three wide and then was in between rivals down the backstretch and tired on the turn.
