Chart notes

TOUR PLAYER laid off of the pace four wide, ranged up quickly to sweep past the leaders reaching the lane and drove clear. OPTICAL stalked three wide, got outkicked by an outer foe nearing the lane, shifted out to the five path while sustaining stride in upper stretch and ran on to gain place in the final furlong. MAP TO THE STARS vied for the lead with an outer rival, got outkicked and proved no match for a wider bidder entering the lane then yielded through the final furlong yet lasted for show. SHOPPER'S REVENGE tracked along the inside, paused briefly behind rivals nearing the lane, then chased and stayed on mildly in the final furlong to miss reaching show. GAMBLERS TAIL trailed along the inside, shifted out to the five path in midstretch and moved up without threatening. GOOD MONEY vied two wide, proved no match for an outer bidder entering the lane and faded between horses.
