Chart notes
WISE ANCHOR tracked behind DANCIN WITH ANGELS through the early stages, moved to challenge for the lead leaving the five-sixteenths pole, got no resistance from that foe turning into the stretch but then was taken on by JULIA'S WARRIOR, dueled that foe gamely to the wire and determinedly kept a head in front. JULIA'S WARRIOR settled off the pace then launched a three wide bid on the turn from the three furlong marker, hooked up in a spirited duel down the stretch with WISE ANCHOR, was relentless but came up short in a good effort. SPINNING ACES tracked inside, was unable to go on with the top pair in the stretch but kept on well and won the battle for third. DANCIN WITH ANGELS was intent on getting the lead from the start, opened up a bit heading into the turn, led to the stretch then was overtaken and outfinished. ONASA was always outrun and was not a factor at any point in the race. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
