Chart notes
FANTASTIC FLAME broke on top, showed the way up the backstretch while off the inside and in hand, continued under a hold through the turn, shrugged off a tepid bid from the runner up past the furlong marker, well clear late to win ridden out. SECRET REVENGE away in good order, chased the winner from along the inside, narrowed the gap on that a bit when straightened for home then proved no match the final furlong, clearly second best. BOTTOMLESS MIMOSA prompted the issue from the outside up the backstretch and into the turn, began to weaken midway on the turn, nothing for the top two through the stretch, finished up best of the rest. WHIRLAWAR off a step slow, trailed for a half, improved by passing mostly tiring rivals, not a serious threat. STARSHIP BELLA went one paced throughout in lacking a closing response. YOUNG AND PRETTY back off the early pace, moved closer in the turn just off the inside, backed up in the drive. STARSHIP PARADISE finished early, far back.
