Chart notes
SALTHAWK vied outside of J DOUBLE E P soon after the start, continued to battle for command into the upper stretch, shook free a furlong from home and finished going away while ridden out. J DOUBLE E P was away last then quickly advanced to engage SALTHAWK for the early lead, vied inside of rival around the turn, could not match strides with eventual winner past the eighth pole but ran on to clear second best. LITTLEJACKRABBIT tracked the pair of embattled leaders into the turn, raced in close contention three wide at the quarter pole, swung three wide into the lane, flattened off the top pair and churned on for a share. STILLBILLY tracked the early duel, came up empty late on the turn, taken wide and was easing up late.
