Chart notes
SUNSET STORM set the tone a bit off the rail around the first turn, showed the way unchallenged to the stretch, led clear into deep stretch and held well closing moments. FAST SERVICE rated behind the pacesetter from inside, coaxed along leaving the backstretch, asked around the far turn while continuing to save ground, inched closer under a grinding rally down the lane but could not get by the winner. BIG BET stalked three deep into the first turn then outside a rival, asked in the two path through the far turn, followed closely down the lane but could not summon the needed late kick. BRUISER broke a step slow and lacked early quickness after, trailed three wide into the clubhouse turn then angled over to the inside, raced in the two path on the second bend and passed tired rivals. UPDRAFT saved ground from off the pace, had the rider lose the crop at the five-sixteenths pole and failed to menace. DAZZLE THE COMMAND tracked in the two path early, dropped off the pace, lost ground four wide on the far turn and had little left for the stretch run.
