Chart notes
OUTOFTHEDARK pressed the pace, challenged between horses on the turn, dueled to the final strides and inched away to prove best. TRIPLE PASS angled out entering the backstretch, raced outside, rallied on the turn to challenge three across, dueled through the stretch and was outfinished in a game effort. BROWN TOWN assumed command on the first turn, set the pace to the second turn, responded to duel to deep stretch and yielded grudgingly. DUAL MONARCHY saved ground to the second turn, angled out, finished well to narrow the gap and didn't have enough late. HESS dropped inside to save ground, angled out for the drive and lacked the needed rally. INNATELY GOOD was off a step slowly, raced in the back towards the outside, swung out entering the stretch and lacked a bid. STREET HUMOR got away alertly, stalked inside, tired entering the far turn and dropped back. BRUCKNER stalked the pace, dropped back into the turn and stopped.
