FIRECRACKER STAND quickly took control, remained unchallenged into the stretch and drew clear under a strong hand ride. NAMESAKE tracked from the rail, rallied late stretch to secure a place finish. FRIDAYNIGHTSOLDIER was reserved off the leaders while five wide, responded to encouragement into the stretch, and was outkicked for second. VICTORIA'S CHIEF closed late. TIGERITO settled off the pace while four wide, lodged a mild bid along the rail midstretch and yielded. MR. SHORTY sat just off the pace while two wide, and came up empty in the drive.
