COUNTERACT away well and tracked the leaders in the run to the first turn while racing in tight quarters, steadied hard when in tight quarters again leaving the turn, shifted three wide midway down the backside and launched his bid entering the final turn, assumed command leaving the turn and finished four wide in the drive to prevail. KEEP IT COMING tracked the leaders while racing three wide through the first turn while pulling hard, rushed up to take the lead midway down the backstretch, battled from along the rail through the final turn, and fought on gamely through the lane to prove second best. GO LENT GO away alertly and pressed the pace three wide from the outside of BACK SHACK through the first turn and into the backside, rallied two wide from between rivals through the final turn, and finished two wide in the drive to garner a share. BACK SHACK broke sharply and raced to the lead one out from the rail entering the backstretch, was quickly overtaken midway down the backside, rallied two wide through the final turn, and finished two wide in the drive. TIME TICKER stalked the leaders three wide from the back of a compact field through the first turn, clipped heels and was forced to steady sharply leaving the turn, dropped well back in the run to the final turn, rallied smartly from along the inside through the turn, and finished well from along the rail in the drive, but was unable to overcome a troubled trip. Following the running of this race there was a stewards inquiry into the incident leaving the first turn. After review there was no change made to the original order of finish.
