Chart notes
TRAFFIC MASTER , forwardly placed while saving ground, was under asking chasing the leaders past the five sixteenths, worked outward for room and straightened four wide in upper stretch, closed in under right handed asks, drew alongside IN THE DANCE inside the sixteenth marker, kept on doggedly and forged ahead in the final yards. IN THE DANCE , four wide into the first turn, dropped in a path and edged up to stalk, moved up under a ride and engaged the leader nearing the five sixteenths, poked a head in front approaching the stretch, shook clear under a drive leaving the three sixteenths, wandered outward when meeting the winner's outer bid, kept on gamely and just failed to hold. FOGGY DEW cleared early, set the pace towards the inner rail, dueled from the five sixteenths to upper stretch then gave way grudgingly through the final furlong. WALDRIP , in range and off the inner rail, was shoved along leaving the far turn, angled four wide nearing the lane and churned on. PUDGE BOY PALACE straightened his head as the gates sprung and came away forwardly, was taken back soon after then taken wide while off the pace, circled five wide into the stretch and came up empty. DEADPAN prompted the pace two wide outside the leader, was put to a hearty ride into the far turn, failed to go on between rivals near the five sixteenths and retreated.
