Chart notes
WEARACAP took the lead soon after the start and set the early pace, held firm around the turn, was ridden along two wide at the head of the lane, remained clear past the furlong marker, dug in under firm right handed pressure and just lasted. GLENGARRY broke on top then conceded position to WEARACAP, stalked rival through the backstretch, remained patiently handled around the turn, given cue two wide at the head of the lane, sustained bid into the final furlong, found another gear late, surged gamely to the wire and just missed. DAWSON'S STORM raced off the top pair into the turn, shaken up three wide for the drive, advanced into contention then yielded in the final sixteenth. BIG LUKE raced off the early pace, saved ground around the turn, launched a bid along the rail top stretch, gained closer contention then evened out late. WARREN L was unhurried and raced in the back, swung five wide into the drive and had no response. SEVENTEEN BLACK raced off the top trio in early stages, raced in range three wide around the turn then retreated in the lane.
