Chart notes
LUCENCY pressed the pace two wide,made a two wide bid to gain a short lead by the quarter pole, came three wide off the bend and was clear by the furlong marker, then switched back to the left lead late and held on to prove best under a drive. BEYOND BEST was bumped at the break, rated along between rivals, tracked the leaders and advanced three wide by the quarter pole and came four wide off the bend to closed well but could not get by the winner and had to settle for second best. GOLDEN GLIDER was rated along the inside, tracked the leaders on the turn and was boxed by the five sixteenths to the quarter pole, came two wide off the bend and had a mild late rally but needed more. INEXORABLE was brushed shortly after the break, settled on the outside, made a four wide move by the quarter pole, came five wide off the bend but flattened out in the final furlong. PIKE PLACE was rated along two wide, dropped back to trail on the turn and eased out leaving the quarter pole and swung out four wide leaving the turn and had no kick. LAUGHING BOY broke out and bumped a foe at the break, set a pressured pace on the inside and yielded at the quarter pole and then gave way in the lane.
