Chart notes
OUTDOOR CAT was bumped and off a step slow, reserved early on the outside, made a four wide move on the turn, came five wide off the bend and continued that move and closed well to kick away in the final furlong to prove best under a drive. IMPERIAL RULER pressed the pace two wide and made a two wide bid leaving the quarter pole to gain a short lead, then was engaged by the winner nearing the furlong marker and could not go with that rival while being second best. KENSINGTON COVE chased the pace on the inside and saved ground on the turn, moved out in the lane and held the show award late. NICO'S DERBY RUN was reserved early, three to four wide on the turn, came four wide into the lane and had a belated rally to just miss the show award. SOCO AND LIME set a pressured pace on the inside and then dueled for command leaving the turn but weakened in the final furlong. ROMANTIC LEAD was bumped and off a step slow at the break, settled early and two to three path on the turn and had no rally. GOLD GUNNER chased the pace three to two wide and came three wide off the bend and weakened. WATCH ME NOW was off slowly, trailed early and was three to four wide on the turn and never threatened. ALL THE LUCK was settled early, saved ground on the turn and failed to menace. ATOMIC SNOW was settled early on the inside and retreated.
