Chart notes
GREAT KING (FR) was in tight shortly after the start then moved up to duel with DIRT ROAD RED from along the inside, responded to pressure and was fully extended to prevail in a prolonged drive. HORSE DOCTOR broke out to brush with SANGER then was allowed to settle, rallied five-wide into the stretch and finished fast. DIRT ROAD RED dueled for the from the outset and held on gamely during the drive. EL ALTO HOMBRE saved ground chasing the pace, lacked room nearing the quarter pole, angled in nearing the three-sixteenths pole and finished willingly. CROSS THE CAUSEWAY was unhurried early, came six-wide into the stretch but unable to seriously treaten. SANGER was brushed at the start by HORSE DOCTOR then was forwardly placed while racing two-wide but lacked a rally.
