CLUB MESQUITE dueled for the lead BENNY BUCKETS from along the inside, then was engaged by RICH GOLD nearing the quarter pole, dueled with that one to the wire and prevailed narrowly. RICH GOLD was allowed to settle, moved up three-wide to engage CLUB MESQUITE nearing the quarter pole, dueled with that one to the wire and missed. BENNY BUCKETS dueled with CLUB MESQUITE for the early lead and held on well for third. STEPHEN JAMES saved ground tracking the leaders, angled out to be four-wide entering the stretch but lacked a rally. COASTAL WATERS raced in the back of the field early, came two-wide into the stretch and improved his position. SUNNY SPOT was forwardly placed while racing four-wide and weakened. POUR ON THE COLE was prominently placed early while racing three-wide and tired. COOPERKLIMT saved ground while being unhurried and failed to threaten.
