Chart notes
BLUE CASANOVA settled behind the pace while toward the inside, continued to save some ground into the far turn, boxed in through the entirety of that bend, eased out for room entering the stretch, challenged between horses entering the furlong grounds, kept on late with good resolve to prove best. CURVED unhurried off the inside, continued back the middle half, came three wide when beginning to advance turning for home, mild bid outside the winner with less than a furlong remaining, outkicked by that one late, held sway for the second spot. THE RIZZER stalked the pace while racing three wide, asked along and lodged an outside bid exiting the final turn, showed the way past the furlong marker, gave ground grudgingly to the top two late. MR BUSINESS moved out to prompt the leader from the outside late first turn, continued to put pressure on that one the middle half mile, challenged between horses turning for home, vied through upper stretch closest to the inside and began to weaken. TALL STORY balked while loading, broke a step slow, remained back along the inside in failing to menace,. MITHRIL took control just after the start, showed the way into the first turn and onto the backstretch through some pedestrian fractions, offered little resistance when confronted in the second turn and caved in when headed entering the stretch.
