Chart notes
TIFFANY GOLD broke running from along the inside, showed the way in the run up the backstretch, continued to hold the advantage along the rail through the turn, responded when the runner up challenged inside the furlong marker, heated duel, dug in late to narrowly gain the advantage. MRS. GAMBOLINI put in tight and steadied at the break, raced back off the leaders early as a result, moved closer three wide around the turn, hooked up with the winner from the outside for a spirited battle to the wire, missed the nod. GREAT VENEZUELA lacked early foot, moved out and came on the outside for the drive, rallied then stalled a bit late in making little progress with the top pair at the wire. HURRICANE DEBBIE put in tight and then steadied at the break, trailed as a result, improved position with some moderate interest through the lane while not posing a serious threat. CALL ME SPICY broke in to tighten up a couple of inner rivals, was straightened, came in again after a furlong to bump BREEZEY BELLA, continued to prompt the issue through the turn then backed up through the stretch. BREEZEY BELLA mid pack, bumped early with CALL ME SPICEY, fell back and was not a factor through the stretch.
