ALPINE ASH stalked the pace, made a good rail bid and just got up under all out pressure. P R ODDSMAKER chased outside of rivals, raced three wide through the far turn and finished gamely to the wire. GOLDIES CLAIM showed good early foot and weakened the final eighth of a mile. THE BIGGER BEAR raced three to four wide and had no final winning bid. WENT HOME failed to menace.
