Chart notes
CHANCES TAKEN stalked the pace to the turn, rallied four wide to engage the pacesetter in upper stretch, battled with that one through the lane and edged clear late. BATTLEOFTHERAVINE took command shortly away from the gate, set a well rated pace, responded when challenged turning for home, dueled through the lane and was outkicked in deep stretch while being clearly second best. LA BOUCANE broke sharply, was taken in hand to settle off the pace and mounted a mild bid in the lane to be along for the show. THE HIT KING ROSE reserved off the pace, saved ground on the turn and rallied up the rail without impact. UNSHAKEABLE PROOF pressed the pace from between rivals to midway on the turn and faded. LT. TENT failed to menace. D. A.'S FAVORITE tracked the leaders from five wide into the turn and failed to respond when called upon. FIVE POCKETS was not a factor.
