Chart notes
MARKET STREET bobbled and was off slowly, reserved and trailed early, advanced two to four wide on the turn, came five wide off the bend and closed full of run under left handed crop urging to edge away late. ZAMBEZI was well rated early two wide, made a two to three wide move to gain a short lead by the furlong marker, kept EGLISE safe but was caught by the winner late in a game effort. EGLISE was allowed to settle early, two to four path on the turn and made a four wide bid leaving the turn to loom boldly but hung in the final furlong. EXPLOSIVELY was rated along the inside, advanced on the inside on the turn and came two wide off the bend but had no late kick. LUDWIG drew out soon after the start and moved towards the inside to set a fast pace, moved to the rail on the turn and was headed leaving the turn and weakened in the final furlong.
