Chart notes
BROADWAY PEARL was in tight entering the first turn, pressed the pace three wide, rallied into the second turn, assumed command, drew off for a clear lead and held safely while drifting out late. MISS HARMONIC broke out, was in tight entering the first turn, vied between horses to the second turn, fell back, came again and gained late to narrow the gap. START SINGING dropped inside on the first turn, got boxed in and was steadied repeatedly along the backstretch, angled out when clear and closed to earn show. SMART IZZY was pushed out at the start, settled in the back while saving ground, lacked a rally and did not threaten. IN B. J.'S HONOR was in tight entering the first turn, vied inside while racing under a snug hold, stopped on the second turn and dropped back.
