Chart notes
LUCKY CURLIN unhurried early circled out to upper stretch rallying while shying wide mid stretch surging late to get up in time. BUSTIN UP tracked the pace saving ground to upper stretch rallying to lead until late missing at the wire. SMALL FIELD well rated rallied on the far turn surging into upper stretch being carried out by the pacesetter in upper stretch bearing down to be right there at the wire. PEMAQUID PETE hustled clear set the pace taking a breather near the far turn being engaged in upper stretch drifting out there coming up a bit short. TRIPLE START slow early lagged to upper stretch rallying late on the inside. TAP EM stalked the pace chasing to upper stretch weakening late on the inside. DOCTOR WU raced evenly fading to upper stretch. OPRY was always outrun. BIG ROWDY DAN gave early retreat. PER RULING #123 FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA RACING COMMISSION, BUSTIN UP WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SECOND TO UNPLACED DUE TO A MEDICATION VIOLATION.
