Chart notes
WILD TAPIT settled in hand, came under a ride with three furlongs to run, closed the gap five wide through the turn and into the lane, reeled in the leaders nearing the sixteenth marker and kicked clear. BETHY stalked the pace, loomed large entering the stretch, was unable to go on with the winner, but kept on well to prove best of the rest. LICHITA came away in good order, set the pace off of the inside, was collared entering the stretch, fought on but weakened in the final yards. PLAY TWENTY broke a step slow, pulled to contention between rivals, angled in and drew even for the lead on the turn, contested the issue to the final sixteenth and gave in. STYLE was unhurried into stride, came three wide leaving the turn, angled to the far outside and finished with a belated improvement. ONACOUNTA was hustled along three deep in the second flight and failed to threaten. ORNERY ANGEL saved ground to no avail. STAR'S DREAM showed little.
