Chart notes
STUD LOVIN was away in good order, set the pressured pace off of the inside, shook off GUIDED ARROW entering the stretch and drew away. GUIDED ARROW prompted the pace along the inside, was unable to go on with the winner through the drive but continued on well to prove the best of the rest. PURPLE OCTOPUS tracked three deep, offered a mild bid leaving the turn, flattened in the drive but stayed on for the show. CUPID'S WAR was hustled along on the inside, got through but lacked the needed late response. MR. CHIVAS was allowed to settle, came three wide and finished with a belated improvement. MKAR THE FAST was through early.
