MY SPRING SUNSHINE controlled the pace, repelled a rival in mid-stretch then just lasted in a long drive. FAUX PAS prompted the winner outside, loomed a stretch threat, made a gradual late gain and just missed. REFINED ELAINE trailed far behind then advanced well to gain the show. NAPOLITAN dropped back off the pace and was never involved. READY TO ROMANCE urged off the leaders for half mile and gave way. LOOKIN AT STAR weakened steadily and trailed through the stretch.
