Chart notes
ROSE OF SHARON pressed the pace from the outside, was able to save ground into the turn in the four path, dueled rival in the stretch to narrowly claim the victory. WILD GIRL bumped foe into trouble early, set a pressured pace in the inside, held a narrow lead over rival until the final few strides. ALMA PURA trailed early in the four path, steadily advanced through the turn, split rivals up the stretch to improve position. ANGEL MESA stalked the pace from three wide, made no bid and finished evenly. STEP LIGHTLY broke swiftly but opted to chase the pace from the two path, stayed in contention until the final sixteenth where she gave way. STELLA D'AMORE raced off the pace in the two path, never involved. WICKED KITTEN bumped by foe resulting in clipped heels and loss of rider, horse was caught and walked off. STEWARDS INQUIRY REGARDING THE LOST RIDER RESULTED IN THE DISQUALIFICATION OF WILD GIRL TO LAST.
