Chart notes
LA SCATTA rated in mid-pack for the first five-eighths, angled four wide with a sweeping bid midway on the final turn to engage the pacesetter in upper stretch and finished well to be clear late in the drive. COTTAGE GARDEN set a well rated pace on a clear, well measured lead to the far turn, responded when challenged on the bend repelling the first comer, dug-in down the lane to resist the winner until deep stretch in a game effort. POR VOCE reserved off the pace three wide down the backside, was put to a drive nearing the quarter pole and finished willingly to be gaining late. STARSHIP LIBERTY prompted the pace for five-eighths, rallied on the turn to engage the pacesetter nearing the quarter pole, failed to get passed and flattened out for the drive. LITTLE MISS MUNNY went evenly failing to menace. MAJESTIC DREAM was not a factor. SOTONA was well placed just off the leaders for a half and came up empty into the turn.
