Chart notes
BRIGHTER DAY was well placed early, rallied in the stretch, split horses, drew off late, driving. TEMPERED DREAM had good position early, rallied, four wide on the turn and was up for place. MARQUITOS M was never far back, angled out five wide in the stretch and finished well to be gaining. SMOOCHER allowed to settle early, had a mild bid, while no threat. LONE BOY was unhurried early and found his best stride late. REDDEN pressed the pace, gained a clear lead at the quarter pole, faltered in the late stretch. JAC'S EMPIRE had early speed three wide and gave way.
