Chart notes
BORN FLAWLESS set the pace inside of a pair of pressers early on, got headed by both of those bidders at the three furlong pole, yet fought on in upper stretch, dueled with an outer lugging GUANARE through the final furlong and edged ahead late. GUANARE altered course outside of the crossing-over leader early on, pressed three deep, bid and vied around the turn, forged an advantage in upper stretch, lugged outwardly as an inner BORN FLAWLESS fought on into the final furlong, bore out again as the rider briefly went back to left handed flagging at the sixteenth pole, continued to battle late but and got bested. MIACOMET prompted two wide and between horses, vied before inching a narrow advantage at the three furlong pole, but yielded to his counterparts in upper stretch and safely managed show. JUNIOR BUG laid off of the pace along the inside, tracked while moving two wide and between horses turning for home, chased while shifting out to the five path into upper stretch and lacked further progress, then was found to have bled. OVIATT CLASS broke slowly before steadying behind rivals soon after the start, trailed in the four path, fanned out to the seven path into upper stretch and failed to threaten. CREATE TROUBLE chased in the three path into the turn, got floated to the six path by an inner rival into upper stretch and gave way.
